At present I have no web-site available to re-produce the failure.
It has nothing to do with any web mail.
There are certain web sites that offer the possibility to comment  
something or to complain. When you click the specific link, an ordinary  
blank edit-window pops-up just for you to write your text. In these cases  
the Opera-cursor is not in place and also a mouse-click does not set it;  
you simply cannot write.
Trying alternate browsers........no problem; they behave as exspected.
