[OU] Help, please

      I'm running Opera version 9.64, build 5270 on the Mac OS X Panther
platform (system 10.5.7), and Opera freezes, accompanied by the spinning
beachball; as soon as I see that, I know it's going to close, which it does.
This has happened at least 3 times per session over the last three weeks.
     I've purged it completely from my Mac mini and downloaded it anew, with
absolutely no change in behavior. I'd really hate to give Opera up, but with
it behaving the way it is, I'm loosing way too much time and productivity.
     Anyone have any ideas?
