I have seen this happen when it is actually one of the pages that Opera is trying to load that causes the crash. When you restart Opera, try starting it with no open windows, and then reload your pages one at a time until you identify which page is causing Opera to crash. The History Panel (or type "opera:history" in the address bar) can help you recover the pages you had open.
