[OU] bittorent downloads

Can anyone help me with this problem in opera 9.50. When I am downloading
a file then wish to interrupt it (stop it), I then stop it and the  
indicator
turns from green to red. All normal. If I get totally out of Opera then  
re-enter
it, the bittorent download has disappeared. I have to keep opera 9.27  
around
just for these downloads. Is there a setting that I have missed. Opera 9.50
windows version using Vista. Thank you.    ....  Larry
