Hello Sy,

    I just read your post about your difficulties with 
converting your wife's mail, on your wife's computer.  That 
begs at least a few questions:

1)  Even though you are working with the same browser 
program and versions, are the two of you working with the 
same E-Mail program?  If not, then, Opera might have more 
difficulties with one and not the other.

2)  Do the two of you keep your E-Mail in the same place? 
For instance, do one of you keep your E-Mail in a removable 
solid state drive, whereas, the other keeps his or her 
E-Mail on the "C" (or, boot drive/partition); or is yours 
directly with the Opera files, whereas, your wife's are not?

3)  Is the folder in which you keep your E-Mail not 
protected (not password protected, or otherwise locked); 
whereas, your wife's E-Mail is protected?

4)  Depending on what the default for Opera to find and 
convert E-Mail postings, can determine what will happen.

    I am not an expert of Opera.  I am just putting forth 
some things you might consider to check out.  It could be 
that all you stumbled upon, was a "bug" in the Opera package.
