[OU] Converting mail

Just installed 9.50 (Windows XP) to two separate installations of 9.24  
(One is mine, the other, my wife's.) Each installation is in its own  
directory, which includes the Program subdirectory. On my own  
installation, after upgrading, after some hesitation and missing text in  
the title bar, a dialog box appeared asking if I wished to convert my mail  
to the new format. I said Yes and the conversion was done and I was able  
to restore the Mail and Contacts panels and all was well.

On my wife's installation of 9.24, clicking Yes to the convert mail  
question produced nothing. I've tried this multiple times, but her mail is  
no longer accessible in 9.50. I've used both the MSI and the Classic  
installers with the same non-result. No mail conversion, no mail or Mail  
panels accessible.

Can anyone help?

Please respond directly to the above address. I get only a summary of the
