[OU] opera mail store ballooning

Hi Listers,

I'm running a Mac with OS 10.2.8 and Opera 9.52 build 4897.

Since I moved to 9.5 it seems that Opera doesn't actually delete "deleted" mail. Although the e-mails are not visible in any of the views, a check in the Store folder shows lots of old "deleted" e-mails. All my spam is still there. I get over 100 a day. This is a problem in that I am running out of memory and can't find out how to delete these hidden e-mails. I have about 400 MB of them.

My hard disc is in two partitions and I've tried to put the Mail folder in the second partition where I have more space. I have tried resetting the directory path in about:config under Mail but Opera can't find the new location. It may be that I haven't named the new pathway correctly. Is there any way I can have the mail folder on another disc? (The second partition is treated as another disc.) And any fix for removing unwanted e-mails that don't show in M2?

Thanks, Alan
