[OU] Menu question

Since these 2 categories - widgets and tooIs - I never use and never will,
deleting them permanently would free up valuable space I'd like to put to
other use.
I really appreciate your response.
What must I do to apply this information? I readily admit I'm a novice, so
if you have to explain this in fifth grade terms, I won't be insulted.

Joel could make a file called JoelMenu1.ini and put it in his
profile\menu subdirectory which would substitute a different main
menu section. The content between the dashed lines below should
get rid of the Widgets and Feeds items, I have added leading
semicolons to those lines.

To activate the revised menu, in the lower pane of
Preferences | Advanced | Toolbars select the "Joel Modified"
option.
Opera reads these ini files by section, so only modified
sections need be in a customized menu. Other sections will
be read from the default menu file.
