Possibly you have saved the password for a page at the given domain
where the user name was already/automatically filled in so it only
tries to enter the password. Or something like that...

Some page(s) I visit at Yahoo is/are like that while others come up
with both the user name and the password needed. When I click the wand
at a Yahoo page, there is one password choice that is titled something
like "<no username found>", presumably because the wand did not (need
to) save the password.
