[OU] It actually does seem to perform well again, but .....

Hi All,

I had stayed away from Opera after suddenly
having a "ton" of trouble when I would go to
various sites, such as Yahoo, and some other ones.
I was surprised that Mozilla's FireFox was
outdoing Opera. That was until recently.

It appears that FireFox does not refresh itself
fully, during a session. It does not refresh
itself automatically nor manually. I wondered what
could be going on.

Opera, OT other H, seems to be handling Yahoo
quite well now, so I am using Opera, again for that
site and one or two other ones for which I used to
use FireFox.

There is just one glitch in Opera, which is a
bit annoying: When I want to check my YahooMail,
I, of course, must log in. I do get the same login
screen/window with Opera as I do with IE and
FireFox, with one exception. Once the rendering of
the signin screen/window is finished, a blinking
point is supposed to be present within the space
one types in his or her user name/ID. This allow
the user to just type in the name/ID without
needing to first use the pointer and left mouse
button. Very convenient and efficient.

This does not always occur when I want to sign
into YahooMail; I must often move my mouse pointer
and then click the left mouse button to first be
able to type my name, etc. What I am describing
may only be a nuisance, or, it could be an eventual
bad "bug" which could foul up other workings of
Opera. This happens a lot, but I cannot guarantee
that I can always reproduce it, and I do not get
any error messages, which makes me believe it is
some sort of internal "bug" which is not
interfering with working with the Web site, now. I
am bringing this to discussion to make sure it is
known and in case I have stumbled on a "bug" which
can eventually cause damage.

FWIW, this does not happen with IE nor with FF.

    Hope the above info helps.

                           Regards,

                           Julian.
