[OU] flv files

I've used Opera for many years but I now have a problem downloading .flv  
files. I have set up in advanced|preferences|downloads, under video/flv,  
extension flv,  "save to disc", and have also tried "Do not ask for......".
After newly opening Opera, when I click on a .flv file I get a white page  
with "plug-in content" at the top, and a message box:-
                                Title: The plug-in is not installed
                                Click on the plug-in content area for more  
information.
If I then go back to the preferences page and press again "Save to disc"  
(which is already selected anyway) next time I try to save, it works ok  
(and also for the rest of this session). Only next time I use Opera I have  
to go thru this sequence again. Anyone any ideas?
