Hi Corinna, I've never had that problem but this may help. Go to the Opera Preferences, and under the Advanced tab go to the Downloads subsection. Using the Quick Find box, type in html. Note that by default "hide file types opened by Opera" is checked - if you don't see HTML (which is grouped with a few others) come up, then this isn't the problem. If you see it come up, select it and click the Edit button. The "Action" is likely set to open with your editing program - set it to "Open with Opera." This may need to be done with some other filetypes as well, although it's strange that a default install of Opera would do that.
If that isn't the issue, there may be one other possibility. Go to the Programs subsection (right below the Downloads section). I have three protocols listed in the box (two entries linked to Telnet and the mailto linked to Opera), but the problem probably isn't there. Below the large box is something that says "Choose the application for viewing source" - is this set to Opera for you? If it isn't, click the Edit button and set it to Opera.
I can't think of any other settings within Opera that could be triggering the other program to open. If none of the above solved it, it may be worth looking into Tinn-R and seeing if there are any options that might be triggering it there (I'm not familiar with it).
Hope it helps,
David
