[OU] Dumb newbie questions

All,
I'm brand spankin' new to Opera, so play nice; I'm switching from
Safari/FireFox/Omni/Thunderbird, and some of the behaviors I've come to
expect from a browser/mail client aren't there. I've looked in the FAQ,
the list archives, and the Knowledge base for answers to these questions
with no success; if there's a resource I should be looking in but have
missed, please tell me where it is and I'll go search it too. I'm on a Mac
G5 Dual 2 GHz, running Leopard (X.V.II).
Tab behavior - When I open a bunch of tabs (which I do) I'm used to the
browser simply going to the next tab. Opera always wants to go back to the
same tab; this is frustrating because I often want to cycle through tabs
quickly, closing them as I go. Is there a way to tweak the prefs to get
Opera to do this? I've tried, but I can't make it work that way.
Importing Thunderbird Mail. Omni doesn't import TB 2.0.0.9. For various
and sundry reasons I have to keep every work related email I ever sent or
received, now going back to 1995. Thats some 30,000 messages, and I need
to be able to search them. Importing my archived emails is vitally
important.
HTML Mail composition. Opera really needs to support composing html
emails. Email is such a limited method of communicating and conveying
meaning, misunderstandings are rife; being able to emphasize text helps
(and I need all the help I can get). In line pics would be nice, too.
Changing the font size in webpages and emails. My eyes aren't what they
once were, and I'd like to be able to enlarge type easily. Opera doesn't
seem to support the Mac's default command+ and command- to enlarge and
shrink font size.
Oh, and I'd really like on the fly spell checking, too. Is there a way to
enable this?
That's it so far - stay tuned...
