Bessenyei's message is basically an automated "out of office" message, as far as I can see. Any time someone sends something to the list it gets sent to his/her inbox and an auto-reply is sent back to the list. It's an annoyance to be certain, but Bessenyei is not the first person to have done something like that (and I'm sure people are not doing it intentionally).
As to your question, how are the accounts set up? Do you have two user accounts on the computer with Opera installations for each of them? Or is it that you have a single Opera installation, and multiple email accounts (created through Tools > Mail and Chat Accounts)? I have a few email accounts set up through the latter, and I see sent messages from all accounts when I click on "sent." The only thing I can think of is that there may be some sort of filter option for viewing on the sent items, but I couldn't find any such toggle on my installation.
