I finally upgraded from 9.27 yesterday and am glad to have done so.
However, I do have a couple of questions.
For Gmail, I have to go with the HTML view rather than Standard view.
This is not so good, one reason being the options under HTML are not
as flexible as Standard. Does anyone know if Opera is working on
this, or having their own mail, they hope for a Gmail fix?
The drop-down history list on the address bar has been abandoned or
changed. Instead we either have to use bookmarks or the feature in
the address bar that brings up old addresses when you begin entering
characters. I see lots of complaining about this on the Opera Forum,
with which I agree. Using this feature, I was much surprised to see
very old references coming up for places and projects of mine from as
long ago as the late 1990s! Anyway, does Opera plan to bring back or
otherwise make available the old drop-down list?
I do like the new skin and the sliding New Tab button.
My problem site, Washingtonpost.com, was not fixed. It still pegs out
my CPU for some of its internal links.
