I appreciate your suggestion, but that is not
about what I was trying to ask. It is true that
sometimes telling a browser to either act (in some
way) as another browser, or to spoof as another
browser, will allow the user to do whatever is
wanted/needed on a particular Web site. I have
done that with AWeb and IBrowse for the Amiga, and
with Opera for the MS Win setups (at least as far
as spoofing). My questions are more, "Why did it
seem that Opera had no difficulty in allowing me to
write those postings on that site, with earlier
versions of Opera, but, does not allow it with the
current version? Is this due to the Web site, or
to Opera?"

If it turns out that the difficulty is due to
the Web site, then, your recommendation would
probably be the way to go. OT other H, if it is
something about Opera, meaning a possible bug, then
Opera would need to be fixed.

    Thank you anyway.

                          Julian.
