Build 9600 is an alpha version of Opera 9.5, which means that it can  
contain a lot of bug. The particular issue you are having sounds like one  
of the known issues listed in the announcement on the desktop team blog:

I would recommend that you use the desktop team blog, or preferably the  
beta forum, when reporting issues with alpha or beta versions:
