I'm running 9.23 on W2K and getting far more invalid URL messages
and often a complete refusal to access the page at all, as in:

-----------------------------------------------
Error!
Invalid URL

The URL http://??????\14 contains characters that are not valid in
the location they are found.
The reason for their presence may be a mistyped URL, but the URL may
also be an attempt to trick you into visiting a web site which you
might mistake for a site you trust.
----------------------------------------------------------------

You can't see the URL itself since these are often hyperlinks but
here is one for a Rootsweb list:

		http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.canada.novascotia.halifax/6130.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx

Firefox has no trouble with it. I assume it is some Microsoft
instruction dodge of the 3W standards, but there seem many more of
them than in the recent past. Is Opera getting to be more of a
stickler or are the illegals running rampant?
