[OU] Macromedia Flash 9 plugins won't install

I'm unable to get Macromedia Flash 9 update or plugins to install in 
Opera 9.24 with W2K.  No firewall or resident anti-virus.

When I try to access a media file, I get this notice that Macromedia 
Flash 9 has to be installed.  I download it, then am told have to 
close Opera, then I try it again and seems OK, but when I bring Opera 
up again and try to access the file, I get the same message about the 
need to update Flash 9.  Anyone know what the problem might be?
