To Those on This List,

I am not sure this is the appropriate list to post this inquiry but I will
attempt it in any case.

I the course of doing family research I am attempting to learn more about a
female opera singer whose married name was Bryden. I do not know her first
name. She would have been active as early as the 1890's and possibly into
the 1930's. She lived in Morningside Heights, New York and had ties to
Orange County, New York, probably Monroe or Goshen.

Her son, Charles Bryden was a tenor who sang radio in the 1920's. He also
had a music school in Monroe, New York during that same time.

I have contacted the Metropolitan Opera who have no knowledge of her.

The cousin I am attempting to help has very little knowledge of his father,
Charles Bryden. It would be wonderful if I could help him learn more.

Any suggestions as to how I can further this search would be greatly
appreciated.

Sincerely,

Beth McLoughlin
