Use File - Import and Export - Export Opera Contacts and Export Opera
Bookmarks.

Don't do that. That is absolutely and completely wrong. That file
(opera6.adr) contains your BOOKMARKS. It is not intended to be edited
directly, especially not in something like Word.

Do you want to copy the file somewhere for savekeeping, or edit them?

Oh, you want to read it. Open CONTACTS.ADR (and certainly NOT opera6.adr)
in Word or whatever, and try to read it - it's not intended to be
necessarily read in Word though. You will find this file in your Opera
directory: C:\Documents and Settings\Hugh Burns\Application
Data\Opera\version 9\profile\contacts.adr.
But why not use Opera? The file is created by and intended to be read by
Opera. Use the contacts panel to read and edit all contacts you have.
