Have you checked to see what else is pulling on the cpu,
by going to TASK MANAGER > PROCESSES?

Or, from a different approach: I had similar problem with the site
of Christian Science Monitor.
When I ran the code validator, I found 112 errors in the
the loading page and notified them of problem but it was not corrected.
So, problem may be in the site coding.
