[OU] Switching from Kmail

I did after using KDE for many years.
I used to run my own mail server (James http://james.apache.org/) and I
was using Kmail with Spamassassin to despam my mail.
My system was slowing down significantly (even froze momentarily for more
than 10 seconds) everytime that Spamassassin was doing its dirty job.
Moreover, it was a pain to maintain.
One day I decided to leave that job to the servers from Opera and Gmail.
That was a good decision.
Furthermore Kmail, like KDE itself, is to complicated to use. Too many
options, useless bells and whisles.
I switched to Xfce 4.
I have never been a fan of Kontact. For obscure reasons I lost so many
records, created so many duplicates, with duplicated phone numbers, when
I was using it. Full of bugs.
I don't need LDAP/LDIF compatibility, since I am not a multinational
company.
I am using Opera's Contacts to accumulate and manage my email contacts of
the moment.
Opera's Contacts is good enough for this job.
I use Jpilot that communicates with my PDA through J-link for my entire
contact database.
