I was using Opera 5.11 (of course!).

I just tried again with 5.12 (started at www.opera.com, pressed
"Download" in left panel to get www.opera.com/download/, selected
"Demon" in the "please choose a location" dropdown, pressed "download
it now"). It asks for
ftp.demon.co.uk/pub/mirrors/opera/win/english/ow32ene... [that's all
that fits in the title-bar!] and I get a "This document is locked"
authentication message-box.

Tried "anonymous/anonymous", "guest/guest", and each with an email
address. None accepted.
