Lotta,
I thought 98Lite sounded interesting too, so I tried it. I didn't like some
of the things it did to my computer, so I looked into "uninstalling" it.
What they don't tell you on the site (at least not that I could find) is
that the only way to undo what 98Lite does to your machine is to reformat
your hard drive and re-install windows.
A lot of people seem to like it alot, and more power to them. I just think
they should let you know that you can't easily get rid of it if you want to.
Dave

Hi Peter and all,
The talk about 98Lite here has got me interested. In fact, I had never
heard of it before. Is it as good as it sounds? If i install it is there
anything special I shall think about? Does it work well with MS software,
can I still run IE and so on. Does it differ much from win98? Any drawbacks
at all? Anything I will miss? I am just about to install a new operating
system on a new drive and would very be grateful for some tips on 98LE.
Thanks in advance,
Lotta
