[Opera-Linux] Command to open a new window

Is there a command that opens a new window with speed dial showing?

  opera -newwindow <url> 

will open a url in a new window, but 

  opera -newwindow 

just opens a new tab and 

  opera -newwindow ""

gives a listing of my home directory.
