I'm pretty sure that I'm using Opera's default keyboard bindings, and
ctrl+d has for a long time been bound to "Add bookmark", while the
recent betas (and probably 9.5) have switched "Paste and go" from
ctrl+b to ctrl+shft+v. Try running Opera as root (or some other user)
and see whether you have the same key bindings / key binding problems.
It might be relevant to know your Distribution, Desktop Environment
and whether you use a Clipboard Manager.
