[Opera-Linux] How'd Opera use so many FDs? (fwd)

Grumble- resent, using Bzip2 vs gzip for the attachment to get under the
size limit (my previous message from last week never got moderated in, BTW).

Certainly this has to be happening to someone else, too?
This is the released 9.63 version (9.63.2474.gcc4.qt3). I've attached
another "lsof" output (gzipped). This session has been running for less
than three hours.
