Hi

Opera 9.24 on Fedora 7.

I'm trying to add a new path element to where opera looks for plugins
systemwide, and not succeeding.

I've followed the instructions at:
http://www.opera.com/support/mastering/sysadmin/index.dml

and now have an /etc/opera6rc and /etc/opera6rc.fixed which have:

[User Prefs]
Plugin Path=/data/soft3/mozilla/plugins

Its not clear from the link above whether this adds to the plugin path
or replaces it, but in any case I don't see the new diretory listed
under Help/About Opera and the plugins in that directory are not
activated. (I've tried adding the lines to each file separately and
together.)

The rc files are being read because if I put in and entry for "Home URL"
it pays attention to that.

Can anyone confirm this problem with setting the plugin path or suggest
a solution please. Install was from
opera-9.24-20071015.6-shared-qt.i386-en.rpm

Thanks

Roderick Johnstone
