[Opera-Linux] Hit a key, see single key shortcuts to activate all URLs on the page?

G'day.
I was using Opera recently in the "pre-boot" environment on a Thinkpad.
That is a cut down version, as I understand it, of Windows.
While there I was able to activate a mode where hitting either control
or shift -- alone, just tapping it -- would add a single character
display to every URL and hitting that letter would open that link.
This was incredibly useful, and I figured "hey, easy to find for sure."
It turns out I was wrong though: it hasn't been easy to find under Linux
and I was hoping that someone could shed light on how to enable it?
Regards,
Daniel
