I had been (foolishly) thinking that it was slow because I've got an
older machine: an Athlon 1.33 GHz (yes, from before the "XP" and "+"
stuff...), and figured I just needed a new machine. I'm glad to know I
won't have to buy a spiffy new speedster now.... no wait.. I still
want one ;-)
Anyway, I've essentially switched to Firefox as well, and it sure
hasn't been easy. Neither the gestures, nor the tabs, nor the "start
from where I left off" work *nearly* as well as they do in Opera. :(
I started with Opera at 3.2, I think it was... and I still reconfigure
it to put the address bar at the bottom of the window, where it
belongs. I curse Firefox for not letting me do that too ;-)
