[Opera-Linux] Wand doesn't work anymore

Recently I wanted to clear a wand entry (Opera 9.24 on Linux), the process 
died tho and now my wand passwords are gone and Opera won't save new entries 
anymore.

Help. 

The wand.dat file still exists in ~/.opera
