[Opera-linux] 7.11 B2 constant crashes

OK, now I'm starting to get pissed. Verion 7.11 B2 constantly crashes, for
no reason. I can be doing stuff that I've done before and it will crash.
Here is the current path to cause needless crashes:
Start: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/releasesmonth.cfm
Select any title on the page. But I used Smallville near the end of the list.
Right mouse click and select Back.
Kiss your browser goodbye.
This is the worst I've seen, but it is consistant in that you can count on the
thing crashing sooner or later (mostly sooner).
I wouldn't mind paying for it, if it worked, but with constant crashes,
no way. Stable products get my money.
Another problem, when pages are loading, the status bar on the bottom of the
page covers up any potential horizontal scroll bar. That is stupid. There is
many a time I want to scroll the page to the right while it is building, but
can't because someone thought that it would be great to cover up the scroll
bar with the status bar. Version 6 never did that. Neither does any other
browser.
Somehow, and I haven't determined how or why, the magic wand icon button that
used to be at the top of the browser has vanished. I can't find a way to
get it back. Speaking of the magic wand, there are times it doesn't work
correctly. I have one site that if I try and use it, it fails and returns
to the login prompt. If I manually enter the values, it works. Not so magic
there. And yes, I've used the editor, completely removed the entry and tried
again. Same results. No workie.
Then there is the problem of bookmark maintenance. If I bookmark a page and
then grab the bookmark and drag it where I want it on the list, it refuses
to go there. If I just drag it again, just a tiny bit and let go, it jumps
to where I really wanted it. But, if you look at the actual bookmark file,
that is not where it will end up. The only way to get bookmarks where you
want them is to quit Opera and hand edit the bookmark file and restart
Opera. Dumb. Bad. Horrible.
Well, that is the list for now. This has been building up for a while.
The main user list doesn't like to read about Linux Opera problems. I was
directed here. I didn't know this list existed. In any event, I've
presented the current problem list.
