[Opera-linux] QT theme support?

I know there are a few themes available from the preferences dialog (I
really like the Platinum theme!) but I was wondering if there was a way
to take advantage of the native QT themeability?  My understanding is
that if I was using KDE it would be able to control the appearance of
Opera...  I'm not particularly interested in installing KDE, so I am
hoping there is another way to manipulate QT directly.
